We would like to inform our valued customers and partners that due to an unexpected and steep increase in prices by token vendors, the pricing of Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs) that include a USB token will be revised by Rs. 100 to Rs. 150, effective from 01-May-2025.
It is worth mentioning here that this price revision applies only to DSCs that include a token. The cost of DSC-only variants (without token) remains unchanged as of now.
What’s Changing?
Previously, DSCs with tokens had an additional charge of Rs. 450, primarily to cover the cost of the USB token. Due to the recent increase in token vendor prices, this component will now be billed at Rs. 550, to reflect the actual cost more accurately and sustainably.
Why This Matters
This price surge from token vendors has come as a surprise to the entire industry, as it is significantly higher than expected. The Digital Signature industry is already undergoing substantial changes due to evolving regulations, and this additional cost burden impacts everyone in the chain—from Certifying Authorities and Registration Authorities to the end users.
Despite this, we have done our best to keep our prices as competitive as possible and are limiting the revision only to the token-inclusive variants.
